Hosted by American travel expert Susi Lea in partnership with Spanish Travel Host Julian Morato, prepare for a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a chef's vibrant world rarely experienced in the 21st century.
Is an international real estate agent with a masters from University of Madrid Complutense/ U Salamanca in Spanish Culture and Communication who represents Euro-Spanish Restaurants. She moonlights as a Spanish professor at Franciscan University, Steubenville, and specializes in Spanish culinary history and spiritually significant tours. She believes in hands on learning...integrating live trips and individually crafted culinary experiences related to the journey and history of celebrity chefs. As founder and CEO of In12Days, and during her many years of international business, she has lived in or traveled to 40 countries worldwide.
Our travel is rooted in Spain's Southeast fishing towns on the Mediterranean Sea.
Wandering the beaches and towns from our Hotel Montiboli, discover a unique culinary journey through fresh ocean markets, land and sea open bonfire roasts, Michelin Rated Restaurants, and private seafront 5 star chef experiences.
The White Coast: La Costa Blanca, is dotted with our daily culinary destinations; wineries, honey farms, and chocolateries. Stroll to the open market, ride to sea and crab with the local fishermen, kayak and snorkel through azure waters to count the lighthouses that dot the shoreline, and then picnic within them
after pulling your boat to shore.
Day 1: Check in to Hotel Montiboli. Explore the Fresh Fish Markets and Village. Private Dinner at the hotel with Chef Rafa.
Day 2: Hike to Puerto Senso for world famous local breakfast. Kayaking to the lighthouses, picnic there. Dinner at Michelin 3 Star Adelante Restaurant.
Day 3: After snorkeling expedition to the protected national reef island, dinner at Michilin 2 Star Restaurant Playa with Chef Rafa.
Day 4: Famous Bullfighting Excursion. Or if preferred, shopping at La Muralla Roja, The Red Wall, and a stop at the ancient Church Maria Santa Nuestra.
Day 5: Swimming Excursion, Winery Ahora, grape harvesting, and lunch at 3 star Michelin Rated Restaurant. Muslim/Christian Swordfighting parade.
Day 6: Bonfire Land and Sea Roasts, on the beach; cook what you catch. Warm up with famous Valor Hot Chocolate from Valor's museum. Flamenco Dancing
Day 7: Making Olive Oil with Olis Rontonar Benifallim. Soccer match, or cooking classes at the Honey Farm.
